If you want to publish gay to straight fiction, make sure you do two more things before anything else: I work to create an atmosphere that showcases how these characters and behaviors are not humane, they are not favorable, and they are simply not acceptable. The characters I write are usually highly stereotypical and outwardly exaggerations of what humans truly are. When writing gay to straight fiction in this community, it is important to always note the fantasy/absurdity/fiction of it all.
